Amygdalin, which is also referred to as vitamin B17, constitutes the extract of 99% apricot seeds, produced for Vitaltabs, and contains 225 mg of amygdalin, colloidal silica and gelatin in one capsule. One packet contains one hundred and twenty capsules.

Amygdalin, also known as Laetrile, is an organic compound, which can be found in the seeds of many different fruits. Our product contains the extract from Prunus Armeniaca L. apricot seeds in eighty percent. However, amygdalin can be also found in the seeds of such fruits as apples, plums, cherries, peaches and quinces. It is also present in the seeds of plants from the rose family, as well as in legumes, such as beans, chickpeas and lentils. It can also be found in berries, blackberries, chokeberries, as well as in flax and sesame seeds. It also occurs in bamboo and brown rice, and the most of it can be found in bitter almonds, macadamia nuts and cashew nuts.

The first person who noticed the anti-cancer properties of amygdalin was the biochemist Dr. Ernest Krebs. For half a century, already a hundred thousand people with cancer have been cured with vitamin B17. Vitamin B17 is a molecule, which contains cyanide, glucose and benzaldehyde. The substances contained in amygdalin are not harmful to the body due to the fact that these substances become active by means of the beta-glucosidase enzyme, which is present only in cancer cells. As a result, amygdalin only destroys cancer cells. How is it possible? Amygdalin goes into cancer cells to fully eliminate them with highly toxic substances that are found in vitamin B17.

You do not have to worry about poisoning from toxic substances that are contained in amygdalin, because the human body contains an enzyme called rhodanase. Owing to it, benzoaldehyde and cyanides are transformed into products that have a positive effect on health. The situation is different for cancerous cells that do not have this function. Amygdalin both destroys tumor tissue and prevents it from spreading. This is possible due to the fact that after the vitamin B17 contacts the cancer cell, its lifespan shortens.
